The top of the ladder — and it has more than one shape. Respite-only and emergency-only fostering are shorter commitments that still count, and they're how many families start.
Bringing a whole group?
Georgia's church-based foster support network is unusually strong. If you can rally a small group, a Sunday school class, or an office, start with For churches & groups — Family Advocacy Ministries, care communities, and service projects that don't fizzle after one weekend.
